Ok. We're back on track. Due to some excessive drinking (ok, the drinking wasn't THAT excessive, it was the laughing that was excessive, Brandon can vouch for me on that one) I wasn't able to prepare Tananger Tales for my impending absense. Either way, here we are on this bright and shining Wednesday.
I feel the sting of pride as I post today's comic. Marty Tanenger Tales has finally gotten to that point in webcomic-dom that were you to stumble onto the latest strip and decide to read from the beginning, the artwork in it's early days is almost unrecognizable from what it is now. Granted most of the original strips were conceived of and pencilled in almost 4 years ago. But even the latter half of "Blast off the Future" differs from the most recent of strips in "The Cat Came Back." And while my readership could be better, I don't get paid for it and it keeps me up VERY late some nights (i.e. tonight, hello 2AM,) I still feel proud of the accomplishment. I'm doing something people can see and I'm growing as an artist.
Ok. I'm done with my diarrheal ego-stroking. You may go about your day. Hope it goes something like this.
